When people say that astrology is ‘bunkum’ they may be to some extent right because it is highly unlikely that all people born under, say, Aries, are going to be of like temperament and share the same destiny. How many of us know two people born under the same sign and yet who are so unlike and whose lives have followed very different paths?
The explanation, as any astrologer would tell you, is that popular sun sign readings are superficial and limited. There isfar more to astrology than being born under such-and-such sign. Indeed when astrologers cast a horoscope they divide it into twelve ‘houses’, each ‘house’ governing a particular aspect of life. Where the planets are the moment of birth determine our character and our life. Yes, ‘it’s all in the stars’. It is a forbidding thought that one’s life is already mapped out at the moment we are born. Most mortals meekly accept what life doles out to them: they are creatures of faith. There is a minority, however, who are not ready to go along with fate and dare to manipulate it – these are ‘magicians’.
Herein I use the astrologers’ principle of the Twelve Houses to manipulate events rather than be manipulated by them. This is a very ancient idea which has been kept hidden down the centuries by secret groups. In it you take charge – and you take responsibility.
